Entertainment District LOS ANGELES - (BUSINESS WIRE)

Wednesday December 10, 2025

AEG, the world's leading sports and live entertainment company, today announced the appointment of Andrew Simon as General Manager of L.A. LIVE, the company's flagship sports and entertainment district in downtown Los Angeles. The announcement was made by Todd Goldstein, Chief Revenue Officer, AEG.

In this role, Simon will oversee all facets of L.A. LIVE's district operations and business performance, event programming, tenant relations, capital improvements, and strategic partnerships. He will lead commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives across the 4-million-square-foot campus with a focus on innovation, guest experience, tenant success, and revenue growth.

Home to more than 500 events annually and welcoming over 20 million visitors each year, L.A. LIVE features world-class venues such as Peacock Theater, Peacock Place, The Novo, and the GRAMMY Museum, along with premier dining, entertainment, and hospitality offerings.

"Andrew's proven leadership and strategic vision make him the ideal choice to guide L.A. LIVE into its next chapter," said Goldstein. "His extensive experience across entertainment, hospitality, and sports will be invaluable as we continue to elevate the district's world-class offerings and deliver exceptional experiences for our guests and partners."

Simon brings more than two decades of leadership experience in entertainment, hospitality, and media. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, where he managed operations for the six-block entertainment district, encompassing seven hotel-casino partners, restaurants, retail, three live concert stages, a pedestrian mall, a zipline attraction, parking facilities, and commercial leasing.

"I am honored to join AEG and lead L.A. LIVE, a destination that has long set the standard for live entertainment and hospitality," said Simon. "This campus embodies the energy and spirit of Los Angeles, and I am excited to contribute to its continued growth. I look forward to working with our teams and partners to build on its legacy, elevate the guest experience, and expand opportunities for tenants, artists, and the community."

Prior to Fremont Street Experience, Simon spent twelve years as CEO of Sports at AXS TV, reporting directly to Chairman Mark Cuban, and held leadership roles with COX Communications, Deloitte Consulting, and MGM Resorts, driving large-scale business development, marketing, and strategic growth initiatives across entertainment, telecommunications, and financial sectors.

Simon earned his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University's Nolan School of Hotel Administration. His leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including In Business Magazine's "Top 40 Under 40" and USA Today's "Power 10." He has served on several civic and industry boards, including Co-Chair of the Super Bowl LVIII Events & Hospitality Committee, the Las Vegas Bowl Committee, and the Downtown Vegas Alliance Board.

L.A. LIVE is a 4-million-square-foot, $3 billion sports and entertainment district adjacent to Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center. The campus features The Novo, a 2,300-capacity live music venue; Peacock Theater, a 7,100-seat live theatre; and a 54-story, 1,001-room convention headquarters destination showcasing The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles and JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE, along with 224 luxury condominiums - The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE - all in a single tower. Additional highlights include the 14-screen Regal L.A. LIVE cinemas, ESPN broadcast facilities, the GRAMMY Museum, and more than 24 restaurants, bars, and hospitality options.
